User guide and how to get there.

he cabin is located in Kirkevik in Malangen fjord, approx 1h40min from Tromsø.
Drive to Storsteinnes before heading direction Meistervik. When arriving Malangen fjord, turn left and drive approx 10-12 min to Kirkevik / Kjærkevik. On the way you will pass Staff Camping area. Drive approx 600m.

Open the road if locked – get the key in a box at entrance door

If the road to the cabin is locked. Stop the car, walk 2-3 min up the road and locate the first cabin at left hand side. There is a small box at left side of the door. Open the box using code 1452 to find the key to the ”road lock” and entrance door.

Living room heating*)

Oven in living rooms disconnected and can be switched on/off

· switch manually on GSM Box behind the Sofa (right-side). Small button press in

a. Red on

b. Green Off

Never remove these connectors!

Just let the temperature be something like 22-24 degree. Do not turn it down to example 12-15 degree. If so, turn it back to 22 degree before leaving cabin.

Set temp switch at oven in living room to approx 22 degree
Locate the oven in living room under big window next to kitchen area. On right hand side of the oven, turn it from 12 degree to approx 22 degree.

Open the blue water valve in the kitchen bench (right hand side) Open=vertical position. (white cable on this picture is not in use anymore, leave it in the bench)

How to Open the sliding door to the terrasse

To Open door lock, use both hands to open the highest part of the first by pulling it towards you. Pull the lowest part of the door towards you, and slide it slowly to the right.

Closing:

Slide it to the left, press lowest part in, press highest part in and lock.

Using TV and Internett.

Make sure all cable is connected to the 220V system (behind the TV at floor)

Internet: Fiber is installed. Se the black Modem, and find the SSID: TP-Link_22E8, Password: 09274983. User ID and Password under router.

TV: The TV is connected to the router. You need to use you own mobile phone (apps) Chromecast stream APP (from Appstore / Android store) and connect to the Chromecast box behind TV. (Use same network as mobile router)

When leaving the cabin

· Cleaning, vacuum cleaner

· Remember to take away waste!

· Close water valve in the kitchen bench by turning it to horizontal position

· Open water in kitchen and bathroom, also shower.

· Turn the temperature to 12 degree. Oven under big window, next to kitchen.

· Switch off all lights. Leave light at terrasse and entrance door on.

· Remove cables from 220v behind TV (floor level)

· Pull all curtains to closed position

· Close all doors (bedrooms and bath room)

In Winter period:

o Switch on outside lights car area, small fuse 3. Inside Grey fuse door at entrance door.)

· Switch GSM receiver to off (Greenlight) manually (behind Sofa)*). Same box in main bedroom and one smaller bedroom. Green light: Off. Don’t remove these boxes from the wall connector!!

· Lock door and install key in box left side at entrance door. Make sure the that road lock is also locked if no one else is at the other cabins before putting the key back.

· If you like to help us, remove bedding clothes and leave them at floor.,

Please carry in same amount of wood as you have used during your stay. Wood is under blue tarpaulin at the terrasse.

Trash / Garbage

Please bring all garbage from cabin when leave. You find the container on the way to the city. See maps location here

There is another to the left - 2-3 km driving

Note:

Bring / buy freshwater as drinking water. The water from the ground have some colour but it is not dangerous to drink.
Bring wood for use at outside campfire place. Wood at the cabin is for inside use!

Jacuzzi

To open:

Remove orange strap. Click here to learn how to open and close a strap

Open the lid from the right side by halving the right side towards the middle. Both parts are then tilted further to the left. The lid flips up completely and is secured automatically.

To close (important)

Before moving the lid, the orange button on the hinge MUST be pressed and held until the lid has come out of the locked position. The lid is then put down in the same way as it was opened.

ALWAYS Shower before using Jacuzzi

· Don’t bring glass into the Jacuzzi. Use plastic glas (buy in shop before arrival)

· Jacuzzi has always water at 38 degree.

· Jets switch: If jet massage wanted, press. It runs approx. 20 min.

· When finish using Jacuzzi, always cover it with the insulated cover. (se how to close above) If not, temperature fall down

· When Blue Floating box is empty or low level, add more clorine tablet. Never adjust gap (shall be approx 1,5 cm)

· If low water level. Add more using blue bucket in bath room

· Never exchange water!!
