History

Alva Yachts was developed in early 2020 from the former company PICA Yachts. At this point, PICA has already had 6 years of experience in the development, construction and marketing of smaller electric driven sailing-and motor yachts. At the beginning of 2020 reports over 40 boats as sold.They have been used by many satisfied customers. The design and development of the yachts is carried out by the renowned design office HENNDESIGN. Its owner Mr. Holger Henn is also co-founder of ALVA YACHTS

Well, for us it isn’t. We care about the earth; climate friendliness and the impact our yachts will have on this planet. To reduce our and your footprint to a minimum, we will offset all unavoidable CO₂emissions produced throughout the Alva Yacht manufacturing process. Full Silent Cruising While noise pollution might seem a trivial consideration to many, yacht propulsion noise is more than a nuisance for the user. Numerous studies have also linked noise pollution in the oceans to stress and orientation problems in the ocean’s fauna. With state-of-the-art electric propulsion systems for our boats we can cut noise pollution and start relaxed cruising

 

Team

ALVA YACHTS GmbH consists of a highly motivated team of specialists from electrical engineering, yacht design, marketing, sales and operation of currently 7 peopleand a crew in the shipyard of about 25 highly skilled workers.Team is working in the yachting industry for many years and have designed and built more than 45 different yachts.Founders: Mathias May -Founder & MDMathias May owns a technical degree and was a sales manager for multinational companies like Carrier and Johnson Controls.He is in the yachting industry for more than 15 years.Holger Henn -Founder & CEOHolger Henn is a yacht designer with a global reputation and in the business formore than 20 years. He was working for well-known companies like Bavaria and Hanse before he starts his venture.
